Belinda Bencic will be in Mallorca Open 2019 after a comeback from a set down against Angelique Kerber after two hours match (2-6 7-6 6-4). The swiss avoided that top-seeded made expected score and through into her second season final and third on grass in her career.

The german started dominating the opener breaking Bencic in first and fifth game to took it (6-2). World No. 6 made a high average of first serve points playe (73) and also saved four break points to hold her services games.

Bencic reacted in second set breaking Kerber in eigth game (5-3). Inmediately the german broke back and the set went to tie-break. The swiss, who won 81% of second set first service point played, could force the decider (7-2).

World No. 13 started the third set breaking Kerber in third hame taking first advantage (2-1). Bencic only suffered to hold ninth game having to save dos break points before seal the win (6-4).

Will be against Sofia Kenin second Bencic season final after Dubái. That is also third final on grass in her carerr after win in Eastbourne and lose in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, both in 2015. Third-seeded is looking for her fourth WTA title after lost five finals previously.
